Romans 5:6-11

As we turn to Romans 5:6-11 today, we see the foundation of that hope in the greatest gift ever given: the sacrificial love of Jesus. December reminds us of the joy of giving and receiving gifts, but no earthly gift compares to this—the love of Christ, given while we were still sinners and helpless to save ourselves.

Whether it’s the Christmas season or any other time of year, this truth remains: His love doesn’t wait for us to be worthy. It meets us right where we are, transforms us, and reconciles us to God. This is the love that saves. Let’s prepare our hearts to reflect on this amazing gift.
