The title of today's message is "The Cross." In our scripture, we see Jesus being scourged, mocked, and crucified. Despite having the power to summon legions of angels, Jesus chose to remain obedient, fulfilling His mission to go to the cross, become our substitute, and pay the price for sinners like you and me. The cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved, it is the power of God.
